The Minneapolis Public Schools - Local Harvest Request for Proposals (RFP) is now open! Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) is seeking proposals from small organizations and individuals wishing to provide locally grown produce, grains, beans, and other products for the School Nutrition program.
Vendors who are interested in selling animal proteins (meats/dairy products), and produce farms whose annual gross sales exceed $1.5 million, should not respond to the Local Harvest RFP. Such vendors are encouraged to apply to MPS’s Regional Sourcing RFP to be issued in the Spring of 2025.
Here is the link to the MPS Procurement page where you can access the Local Harvest RFP Document and fillable Response Form. Please scroll to the bottom of the procurement page and look for RFP 25-13 CWS Local Harvest for all associated documents.
Please complete the Intention to Submit a Proposal form as soon as possible (before January 10). This form is mandatory if you plan to submit a proposal to either of the Farm to School RFPs (Local Harvest & Regional Sourcing) for the 2025-2026 school year.
We look forward to seeing Intention to Submit forms come in. Thanks!
