This 3.5-hour fully online course is an in-depth look at GAPs on the farm and is a "one stop shop" to learn about food safety best practices in the production, washing, packing, storage and transport of fresh produce.
These trainings are taught by UMN Extension and experienced farmer trainers and include interactive and photo-filled activities. Each session is the same, so you only need to register for one date.Feb 24: 9:00pm - 12:30pm
March 4: 9:00am - 12:30pm
March 12: 1:00pm - 4:30pm
Cost: $15 per farm, includes certificate of attendance for all participants. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of this course. Please email jenri001@umn.edu. One participant at each training will win a set of handwashing stand supplies! Register early as the courses will close at capacity.
