Farmers Sought for Southwest, Kingfield, and Nokomis Farmers' Markets

We're seeking farmers raising meat, eggs, and dairy to join the Southwest, Kingfield, and Nokomis Farmers Markets for the 2025 season. These markets are run by non-profit org Neighborhood Roots in Minneapolis, and all have great communities ready to support new vendors. Meat, eggs, and dairy are very in demand at all three markets!

The Southwest Farmers Market is held on Saturdays, May 17 through October 25 at 5025 Knox Ave S. Primary needs are beef, pork, cheese, and fruit such as apples and berries. Scheduling is flexible, electricity is available. The market's location can't be beat, with visibility from a very busy street (50th St in Minneapolis), proximity to walking and biking trails, tons of parking, and dense residential areas on all sides. Southwest is debuting in 2025, so this is a chance to get your foot in the door at a great market.

The Kingfield Farmers Market is held every Sunday May 18 - October 26 at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Park, 4055 Nicollet Ave. The Kingfield Farmers Market has a 20+ year long history in the Kingfield neighborhood and typically welcomes 1500 - 1900 customers daily. Applications are competitive and openings are rare. We are looking for farms raising beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and eggs at scale for this market. Halal options are a bonus.

The Nokomis Farmers Market is held Wednesday afternoon/evenings June 11 - September 24 at 5167 Chicago Ave. This is a small but mighty market, with just under 600 customers daily on average and attendance increasing annually. Electricity is available. We'd like to find vendors offering beef, pork, lamb, chicken, eggs, and cheese for this market.

For vendors selling products with added ingredients, such as salt or spices, a Minneapolis Seasonal Food Permit is required.
