Monthly Forest Wildlife Habitat Webinar Series

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service has launched a 12-part monthly forest wildlife habitat panel discussion webinar series, to be held every 3rd Tuesday each month, 12 - 1:30 PM ET.The entire series will run monthly through December 16, 2025.

· Join the webinar early on Tuesday to make sure to get a slot.

· TWS and SAF CEUs (1 1/2 ceus) are available for each of the 12 monthly webinars.

· Please send jim_siegel@fws.gov any of your SAF or State Forestry Numbers to get CEU credit for SAF. TWS CEU's are self-reported

Webinar 9: Finding Refuge in Suburbia: Managing Forests for Habitat in an Urban Environment

We invite you to join a diverse panel of urban forestry experts for a discussion on managing forests for wildlife habitat in an urban environment. We will explore the processes that shaped these environments, the stressors that threaten them, and how to effectively manage for wildlife habitat, resiliency, and the ecological services urban forests provide. Listen in as the panelists uproot the concrete jungle and fill in its cracks with their seeds of knowledge. Come with your questions and grow with us as we pave a sustainable and resilient path through urban forestry.
