Seeking Agricultural Geographers to join a Working Group to Explore American Agricultural Heritage Areas

A Place at the Table Lab (APAT Lab), a new initiative of the Lyson Center for Civic Agriculture and Food Systems (a nonprofit affiliate of Cornell University) is exploring the concept of American Agricultural Heritage Areas (AHAs)— a proposed place-based framework for recognizing, celebrating, conserving, and advancing the nation’s most distinctive agricultural landscapes and food systems.

Public Comment Sought on Water Quality Best Management Practices

 The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is soliciting public comments on draft water quality best management practices (BMPs) for the use of the fungicide chlorothalonil. Submit comments by October 22, 2025.
