Neighborhood Roots is hiring a Marketing & Operations Coordinator to support our farmers markets in Minneapolis. NR is the non-profit behind the Southwest, Kingfield, and Nokomis Farmers Markets, plus a series of winter markets. Our markets are focused on community-building and supporting local farmers, food makers, and artisans. Apply by February 16, 2026.
This is a part-time, hybrid position that blends hands-on market operations with marketing and communications work. On market days, this role helps ensure welcoming, and well-run markets by supporting vendors, volunteers, and customers. Off-site, the Coordinator focuses on marketing efforts that center our markets, vendors, and programs.
Position highlights:
Part-time, year round employment with seasonal variation in hours (10–25 hrs/week May–Oct; 2–10 hrs/week Nov–Apr)
Compensation: $21–$23/hour + monthly health insurance & technology stipend
Hybrid role (on-site during markets, remote for admin work)
