Microgrants for food businesses

The Market Entry Fund (TMEF) is offering microgrants, administered by Renewing the Countryside, for food business entrepreneurs to overcome systemic barriers to entry into the industry. Apply by July 1, 2026.

Emerging or small-scale food, beverage or agricultural businesses that produce consumer packaged goods (CPGs) can apply for microgrant funds between $5,000- $20,000. Eligible businesses must be based in Minnesota and are licensed or actively working towards a wholesale processor/manufacturer license. Learn more and apply for this TMEF microgrant.
