New Farmer U Workshop

 Please share with your networks! Marbleseed is hosting a spring New Farmer U workshop April 12-13 in Chippewa Falls, Wis.

This two-day workshop will run April 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the newly built Market on the River—the new headquarters of the Wisconsin Farmers Union (128 W River St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).

This intensive two-day training is designed to provide beginning farmers with practical financial, marketing, and business management skills to help their operations thrive. The event features presentations by industry experts, including:

• Paul Dietmann, Senior Lending Officer at Compeer Financial, who will share insights on farm financial planning.
• Andrew Larson, Farm Program Manager at the Food Finance Institute, who will discuss key strategies for maintaining a farm’s organizational health

 Additional speakers will offer valuable guidance on marketing farm products, mental health resources for farmers, and legal support. Whether farmers are just starting out or looking to refine their business approach, Marbleseed’s New Farmer U provides actionable knowledge to help them succeed.
