We are pleased to share that applications for the 2026–2027 cohort of the World Food Forum (WFF) Youth Policy Board (YPB) are now open. Applications are due 23 November 2025, and can be accessed here.
I am reaching out regarding the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization’s (UN FAO) initiative to empower, support, and connect youth in transforming agrifood systems. Launched in 2021 by the FAO Youth Committee, the UN FAO World Food Forum (WFF) Global Youth Action Initiative engages youth aged 18–35 through five core programs: Youth Assembly, Education, Innovation, Culture, and Local Action.
The Youth Policy Board is a rotating group of young leaders that guides the work of the WFF Youth Assembly, ensuring that youth perspectives are effectively integrated into global agrifood systems transformation. The Terms of Reference, including eligibility criteria and application details, are available here. World Food Forum Flagship at FAO Headquarters in Rome
In addition to year-round programing the annual World Food Forum (WFF)

Connect
As a focal point for North American youth at the World Food Forum, I would be happy to answer questions or schedule a brief call after the Flagship to explore how youth in your network can get involved. Please feel free to reach out:
