COMET Training Opportunities

Changing Our Mental & Emotional Trajectory (COMET.)  This 2-hour interactive training teaches participants how to reach out in a respectful and supportive way to friends, coworkers, customers, or acquaintances who seem to be struggling somewhere on the continuum between “wellness” and “mental health crisis.”

While designed for farm and rural communities, we can also adapt it for urban and suburban settings.

We offer COMET at no-charge either in-person or online* for groups of up to 30 participants throughout Minnesota. It can be a standalone training or part of an existing meeting or conference.

- To register for a scheduled session, go to:  z.umn.edu/2024COMET

- To arrange a COMET training for your community/group/organization, find a trainer at: z.umn.edu/MNCOMETtrainers

*Please note the online COMET is not a webinar you can watch. It is a live on-line training that requires you to participate. You’ll need a computer that has a camera and microphone.

For more information visit the Minnesota COMET web page.

COMET was developed by the High Plains Research Network in eastern Colorado and is offered in Minnesota by these partners:
