2 Ph.D. Opportunities in Agroecology at Univ of Vermont

The Institute for Agroecology, in conjunction with Leadership for the Ecozoic and the UVM Food Systems Graduate Program, is recruiting for two funded Ph.D. Positions in Transformative Agroecology. Apply by November 1, 2024.

One position will be in the Food Systems PhD Program and the other in SDPEG (Ph.D. in Sustainable Development Policy, Economics and Governance) in partnership with Leadership for the Ecozoic. See our post here or directly on our website for more information.

This is a great opportunity for passionate students eager to make a difference in creating more equitable and sustainable food systems. You'll have the chance to dive into key research areas like Regional Agroecological Transitions, Leadership in Agroecology, and the Role of Technology in Agroecological Transformations.⁠

As part of this program, you'll be working closely with our team and community partners to advance sustainable and equitable food systems. This position offers 4 years of support, including a tuition waiver, a generous annual stipend, and funding for research costs. ⁠
