The University of California Santa Cruz, Center for Agroecology is excited to begin our search for a new leadership position within the organization, our Agricultural Operations and Programs Manager. Apply by October 7, 2024.
This position will play a key role in helping the Center meet its mission to advance agroecology and equitable food systems through experiential education, participatory research, agricultural extension, and public service by increasing internal coordination across our diverse programming while fostering collaboration with on-campus and off-campus partners to increase the Center's impact and accessibility. We seek applicants with broad knowledge and skills in agroecology, organic farming research and extension-facing programming, with significant staff, program, and facilities management experience. This position will supervise 4 direct reports and 1 indirect report. The posted salary is $115,000 - $120,000 / annually with ongoing funding from UCSC's Agricultural Experiment Station designation.
