Farm Transition Planning Course by Land Stewardship Project

This winter, the Land Stewardship Project will be hosting our 2026 Farm Transition Planning Course, starting on January 27 and running through March 10. The deadline to register is January 9. This holistic course is offered online, and is scheduled for Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Each week, attendees will be guided through the planning process by resource professionals, experienced landowners, and LSP staff, with time allocated for your direct questions.

Our Farm Transition Planning Course can play a key role in developing your farm's future. Whether you need to plan for the next generation of farmers on your land or simply begin the conversation about the next steps with your family, this course will help guide you through the process.

One of our past participants shared this:

"This course saved me thousands of dollars by providing information that helped me understand what I needed to do myself and what I needed to pay professionals to do."

The registration deadline for the 2026 course is Friday, January 9, with the first day of the course on Tuesday, January 27. LSP only offers this course once per year and class size is limited, so sign-up now!
