The Boreal Farm is hiring a full-time, year-round Farm Manager to lead diversified vegetable production and farm operations in Northeastern Minnesota, with a planned start date this spring.
This is a leadership role overseeing crop production from propagation through harvest, high tunnel and irrigation systems, seasonal crew coordination, and ongoing infrastructure development. The position supports CSA and farmstand production and plays a central role in strengthening the farm’s long-term operational capacity.
We are seeking an experienced grower with cold-climate production experience (Zones 3–4), strong technical and organizational skills, and a commitment to professional agriculture and land stewardship.
Position details:
Full-time, salaried position ($52,000–56,000 DOE)
Year-round role with seasonally variable hours
$300/month healthcare stipend, gear stipend, and paid winter closure
Northeastern Minnesota
