The MDA is excited to share that registration for the 2026 School Garden Conference is now open! The conference will be held March 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN. Please help us spread the word! And we hope you consider attending too 
School gardens offer a unique, practical way for students to achieve academic goals, engage with community partners, explore agriculture and healthy eating, and connect with the environment. Whether you're new to school gardens or experienced, come join us in March to learn strategies for building, maintaining, and engaging learners in a successful school garden.

- 10-15 minute Lightning Talks
- Hands-on sessions at Farm at the Arb

The 2026 School Garden Conference is hosted by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.
