Spring Planting Crew Positions with Twin Cities Berry Company

Twin Cities Berry Company: Spring Planting Season 2-week Blitz. Dates: April 20-May 1, 2026, Monday-Friday. 
Rate: $650/week, $1300 total

Hours: 8am-3pm, paid lunchtime. Some days may end early

Location: Twin Cities Berry Company, 25297 Davenport St NE, Isanti MN 55040

Description: We will be planting approx. 10,000 strawberry plants into our high-density ‘Fruit Factory’ production tunnels. Most of the work will be potting containers, planting cuttings, moving the containers into the tunnels, and setting up the irrigation/fertility system. Possibility for tunnel maintenance and construction, depending on farm needs at the time. Workers will need to be able to handle medium to heavy physical labor.

Workers will provide their own transportation to the farm. Commute is approx. 40-50min from the Twin Cities, depending on location.

TCBC combines the affordable ingenuity of small farm best practices with the automated, high-density methods common in expensive ‘Dutch Greenhouse’ farms. This is a higher-tech operation than many traditional, small farms and could give workers insight into how to maximize production and revenue inside small spaces. This could even be seen as a paid, ‘professional development’ opportunity for other small farmers, if their own planting season allows them to participate in this position.
