Staff Positions with Keepsake Cidery, Winery, & Farm

 Keepsake Cidery, Winery & Farm, Dundas, MN, is Hiring!  We are an orchard-based Cidery & Winery located just outside of Northfield, MN, surrounded by the Cannon River Wilderness Area.

We have an on-site Tasting Room that offers a local producer food menu, natural ciders & wines, local beer and nonalcoholic beverages and a small store. We are open on weekends with live music, festivals throughout the season, and special events in our multiple spaces that are available for rent by businesses, private groups, and nonprofits. We are unique in the world of cider and wine making in that we use only spontaneous fermentation in production. 

Start date is flexible but ideally we have staff fully trained in by May. We need some staff to start in March. 

  • General Tasting Room Staff (weekends) - Duties include beverage and food service, busing/cleaning/dishes, stocking, running Square register, serving and talking about our natural ciders and wines on a high level (education provided), etc. The ideal person(s) has some service industry experience, is a quick learner, motivated worker, and good with people. Starting wage $12/hr experience depending, plus tips which vary from $10-$25+ per hour. The Tasting Room is open weekends Mar-Nov (including Friday evenings June-Oct) and for special events.   • In past years, the Tasting Room has been managed by the owner. We are hoping to step back and hire an employee that could fit this role.  A position of Tasting Room Manager/Lead Shift Supervisor is an opportunity this year!  Ideally this person would have significant customer service experience, food prep and kitchen experience and interest, event planning experience and interest, good organizational skills, and ability to work at the Cidery most weekend days  (Fri-Sun) and 1-2 partial or full days during the week (hours and times of day flexible during the week).  Hourly wage is dependent on experience and when working (during the week or on the weekend). Tips are included for shifts on the weekend as you will be expected to function as general tasting room staff for hours we are open to the public. This is potentially a long term position with the option to grow and work in the orchard and on the farm. You would work closely with us (Tracy & Nate) for guidance and as a team with Tracy to keep the Tasting Room running smoothly.
