SDK Strategic Services is working with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) on a project about how people understand medical bills and their rights under the “No Surprises Act” (the law that’s supposed to protect people from unexpected medical bills and help them understand costs upfront).
SDK is doing a handful of 20-minute confidential interviews to hear farmers’ experiences with billing, medical costs, and health care. The results of this work will be summarized in a report to MDH and will serve as the basis for an awareness campaign, materials, or other communications activities. All quotes used in the report will be anonymous.
