Positions Available with Dream of Wild Health

 At Dream of Wild Health (DWH) we grow seeds and we grow leaders. We also grow food for the Community and connection to Mother Earth. Seed Garden Program
Seed Farmer – 2 full-time, seasonal positions – Working with our Seedkeeper, Seed Farmers work closely with the land and the seeds to raise them from Dream of Wild Health’s Ancestral Seed Bundle. We will hire two people to work from April through mid-November in this role.

Market Garden Program
Seasonal Farmer – 2 full-time, seasonal positions – Working with our Market Garden Manager and team, Seasonal Farmers support all aspects of bringing food to the Native community in the Twin Cities. From seeding and weeding to washing and packing, these roles provide essential support to our food-raising efforts.

Farm Distributions Lead – 1 full-time, seasonal position – Collaborating with the Farm Distributions Supervisor, this role helps bring food to the cities through Indigenous Food Share Boxes, the Four Sisters Farmers Market, and our Indigenous Food Network Partners. The Distributions Lead provides leadership at the market and spends 20–25 hours each week in the garden supporting food distribution efforts.

Farm Distributions Assistant – 1 Full time (.8), seasonal position – Working with the Distributions Supervisor and Lead, this role supports food distribution through Indigenous Food Share Boxes, the Four Sisters Farmers Market, and our Indigenous Food Network Partners. The Assistant helps provide leadership at the market and spends 15–20 hours each week in the garden supporting food distribution work.

Seasonal Farmer (Summer) - 1 Full time, 32 hrs/wk, June - August – Working with our Market Garden Manager and team, this Seasonal Farmer supports all aspects of food production for the Native community in the Twin Cities. From seeding and weeding to washing and packing, this role offers hands-on experience for a young adult with gardening experience who is still in school.

Land Stewardship Program 
Greenhouse Lead and Land Stewardship Assistant - 1 full-time, seasonal position  Working closely with the Land Stewardship Manager and farm team, this role provides daily care for plants in our 2,700 square-foot greenhouse, outdoor nursery, and gravel bed tree nursery. Responsibilities include watering, scouting, organizing, and supporting plant grow-outs, along with landscape stewardship such as mowing, pruning, transplanting, and propagation.

This is a NEW POSITION in 2026. The right candidate will have a big impact on the success of our team and the development of this role. There is also a possibility for continued employment depending on funding.
