Burning River Farm is a Certified Naturally Grown vegetable farm located 90 minutes northeast of the Twin Cities in Frederic, WI. We specialize in growing vegetables for farmers markets, and have been operating in western Wisconsin and serving farmers markets in the Twin Cities since 2006.
Burning River Farm is seeking full-time farm crew for the 2026 season.
Our season runs from the beginning of May through the end of October. Work days are Monday through Friday on the farm (7am-4pm), and Saturdays at the farmers market (a longer day running from 5am-3:30pm, including travel time).
Housing is available to full-time crew.
Part-time opportunities are also available, please reach out for specifics.
Our primary goal through the season is to grow exceptional, nutritious, clean food without the use of chemical inputs, to improve the quality of the soil for the following season, and to provide our market customers with a quality of produce that they won’t find elsewhere. We strive to provide an employment experience that is positive and productive. Employees are involved in all aspects of the farm within the perimeters of the season itself.
