I have a 40 acre farm about 13 miles south of River Falls, WI. My land has been organic for 30 years and has been certified several times. It is certifiable for the upcoming growing season. There are approximately 2 acres of tillable land (one of those acres has asparagus that is nearing the end of its productive life). This area could be planted to other annuals or perennials. The possibility for a multi-year lease will be considered. There are 10 acres of restored prairie, adjacent to the tilled area, that are not enrolled in the CRP program that could be used for pasture. There is water available via a hydrant outside of the high tunnel but the grassland area is not currently fenced. I have drip tape and irrigation equipment to use in the high tunnel (30' by 72'). The tunnel has high fertility as my chickens and ducks spend their winter inside the tunnel. The tunnel was part of a cover crop field trial last summer.
