Seasonal Produce Reclamation Assistant Positions with The Food Group

 We are in search of two Seasonal Produce Reclamation Assistants who love working with people and getting their hands in the dirt this growing season at The Food Group! 

 The Seasonal Food Reclamation (Rescue) Assistant is a ~15 hour/week seasonal role responsible for motivating teams of volunteers to reclaim unsold fresh local produce to supply local food shelves. The two assistants work together to coordinate groups of volunteers to harvest, collect, and sort seasonal produce at area farms and at the Minneapolis Farmers Market. 

 

The position will assist with Farmer’s Market produce reclamation every Sunday, on-farm produce gleaning most Thursdays, and some flexible hours for support of volunteer programming. The hourly pay is $20.00 per hour.
