My team is very excited to announce a national search for a Director of US Agriculture. This critical leadership role will lead Winrock’s US agriculture and food systems programs.
The Director will lead the Wallace Center, a team focused on bringing together diverse people and ideas to co-create solutions that build healthy farms, fair economies, and resilient food systems.
We are seeking a systems thinker and systems creator – someone who enjoys leading complex food systems and agriculture work, a talented team, and can see both the forest and the trees. The ideal candidate will be an effective listener, strong communicator, and a problem solver who centers relationships as they provide strategic direction for advancing Winrock’s and the Wallace Center’s priorities. The Director will bring substantive experience leading and growing teams, working with diverse partners, and be prepared to work in a complex operational environment.
The position is full-time, remote, and has an expected start date of June 2026. Starting salary is $120,000-140,000, plus an excellent benefits package. A full job description can be viewed by clicking here. Interested applicants
Of note: this is a national search, however, there is priority consideration for candidates based in and with experience in the U.S. Midwest and Delta states. Applicants from candidates of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, though international sponsorship is not available.
Application reviews will start on March 30th, with priority consideration given to applications submitted by Monday, April 6th. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
