Weeds are a fact of life in vegetable farming, but there are mechanical tools and techniques that farms of all sizes can use to manage weeds on their farm. UMN Extension is hosting five Mechanical Weed Control Field Days on farms around the state this growing season.

- June 13th - Northwest Minnesota - Felton, Minnesota (Clay County)
- June 25th - South Metro - Farmington, Minnesota (Dakota County)
- July 22nd - Northeast Minnesota - Wrenshall, Minnesota (Carlton County)
- September 28th - West Metro - Delano, Minnesota (Wright County)
