Exciting news! The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is celebrating the 2nd Annual School Garden Week from May 18-22.
School Garden Week celebrates the amazing work being done in school gardens across the state and the benefits they have on students, schools, and the surrounding community. This week is a great opportunity to get out in your school garden and engage with it alongside schools throughout Minnesota! Celebrate by engaging in suggested daily activities, hosting school garden events, or simply spending time in your school garden.
Register for the 2nd annual School Garden Week and let us know how you’ll be celebrating! The first 100 people to register will receive a FREE packet of squash seeds – joining schools and early care centers across the state in growing and learning about our Vegetable of the Year.
